Kerry Ellis and Brian May

On Thursday night I went to see the Kerry Ellis and Brian May tour in Glasgow and I have to say it was the best concert I have ever been to EVER!!! And yes that does include the Springsteen gig. Her and Brian performed all the songs from her début CD Anthem plus a couple of extra Queen songs. Brian and Kerry first met when Kerry landed the part of Meat in the original production of We will Rock you and have a been tight ever since. He's actually gifted the song non-one but you (only the good die young) too her in the same way Roy Orbison gifted Crying to kd lang. Many of the songs sung on the night got standing ovation ( not just Queen song's but from the musical Wicked and Chess) including no-one but you, Defying Gravity and Somebody to love. What was amazing was the fact that the whole place did the arm actions for We will rock you, you know the clap hands then outstretch the arms one, and also we swayed our arms in the air too We are the champions. My seat was brilliant as it was four rows from the front and in the middle so I had a perfect view of the lovely Miss Ellis. And let me tell you that woman is gorgeous with a capital Guh and has legs that I would kill for. Here are a couple of vids one ( no-one but you) is from the Edinburgh gig the night before but this song and her voice singing it is just so amazing that it's no wonder a standing ovation was given in Glasgow and the other vid is Somebody to love and I'm in this video to the right of the screen behind a balding man I'm hard to see at first but you will see me nodding me head to the music and then giving a standing ovation lol. It's a Where's Lolly" game as David called it.

Brian May did a few nice wee guitar solos and attempted to sing. It was very cool to see him as he is a legend.

The support band was Vintage trouble who I saw a few weeks before on Jools Holland and thought they were great but in the flesh they are kick ass I would go and see them in a full concert.

All in all it was a fantastic night and I'm so glad that I've finally saw Kerry Ellis live and really it would be a crime against the civil partnership laws if she didn't marry me, I'm thinking of starting a petition.

Update: Sadly due to bloggers retard set up of only allowing people to see half the video you can't see me in that video above ( and I was too lazy to delete the post)So here's the link for the actual Youtube video.
