The bus home was really busy today so I had to sit up the back with the youths, I was a bit hesitant to sit at the back at first because, as we all know, the back of the bus canny sing but then I had a flashback to my singstar episode and realised that ship has all ready sailed.
I've done and going to do things this week that I've never done before and no it doesn't involve getting a boyfriend or watching neighbours while not tweeting how gorgeous Susan is. I bought a ticket for the Glasgow Warriors Game that's on Friday night, very exited as I've never been to a live rugby match before. So I went to see if I could find the stadium today, they play at the Partick thistle ground. I got the underground to St George's cross and it's about a 20 min walk from there. Found it no bother. Sure it's a wee bit of a walk but I'll be sitting down for about 80mins so that will be rest enough before I tackle the walk back again.
The other things that I have done were just daft wee things, like finally printing something out in the uni library, I usually use the theology computer lab. I was always scared that I couldn't find the printers in the library. I also bought a card to use the library photocopiers now all I have to do is work out how to use the thing, that will be Friday mornings fun thing to do. I like to do all these things when it's quiet that way i wont look like a tube in front of people.
I transfered all my fan fiction from my old laptop to a memory stick the other day, going to attempt to spruce them up a bit and post them on my fanfiction.net account. I was suprised by what fics I had as I had forgotten about some of them. And some of them are a bit on the fruity side, I blushed a wee bit reading some of them. And some of them were just really angsty and sad. Of course I'm not saying they are any good but lack of talent has never stopped me doing anything in the past as anyone who has witnessed my acting will testify too. I just don't feel that just cause you aren't any good at something dosen't mean you shouldn't do it, obviously there are many exceptions to that rule but you get my drift I'm sure.
A wee question popped into my head while looking at the pics of Meryl Streep as Margret Thatcher. Is it wrong to fancy her as the ex PM?
